Tasks

-Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment when necessary. -Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner. -Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal across all designated areas within the plant. -Adhere to union guidelines, safety protocols, and company policies while performing all duties. -Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, including floor scrubbers, buffers, and pressure washers. -Assist with setup and cleanup for special events or shifts as required. -Sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, and break areas to maintain high standards of hygiene and prevent the spread of illness.

What You Bring

-High school diploma or equivalent. -Previous janitorial or custodial experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. -Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and supervisors. -Certification in occupational safety or hazardous materials handling. -Familiarity with union work environments and collective bargaining agreements. -Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment. -Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic. -Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. -Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. -Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.
