Tasks

-Greet and welcome guests and applicants upon arrival -Provide accurate information in person, via phone, and email. -Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls -Send out jobsite arrival emails -Perform Assistant Recruiter duties as needed -Review and approve new hire and rehire submissions -Scan and upload all onboarding paperwork and documentation into Cajun’s HRIS system -Coordinate drug screens and physicals for current and new employees -Guide applicants to apply online and assist them at the receptionist kiosks -Provide support to the recruiting team as needed -Send out jobsite arrival text to all employees -Assist with internal audits and monthly compliance tracking -Notify the recruiting team of any onboarding issues or delays -Serve as a liaison between candidates, recruiting, payroll, and HR for onboarding and termination documentation -Schedule Safety Council courses for current and new employees -Maintain employee records such as the employee’s hiring and termination information -Manage applicant tracking and onboarding -Ensure timely completion and compliance of all onboarding documents -Coordinate new hire orientations with candidates, the recruiting team, and trainers -Upload required documents to P-Vault -Follow up with candidates to complete required documentation

What You Bring

-Subject to repetitive use of hands/arms -Ability to use math/complete calculations -Talking and reading & writing comprehension is necessary for giving and receiving directions to perform work and/or safety policy -Experience with HRIS systems is a plus -Will need to be able to perform sedentary work -High school diploma or GED required -Experience in HR administration or recruiting support preferred -Frequently required to walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms -Must be able to concentrate amid distractions and remember details -Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus -Occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds -Strong organizations and communication skills -Must have the ability to direct others and communicate effectively with other management/ supervision -Professional demeanor and customer service orientation -Ability to use computer, keyboard, telephone and other office devices -Regularly required to talk or hear -Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines -Occasionally required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, use hands and fingers to handle and feel
