Tasks

-Promote resident retention programs and address resident concerns promptly. -Attend staff meetings and take minutes when necessary. -Assist in collection and processing of all payments and purchase orders. -Maintain accurate resident records, including account setup (names, lease dates, charges, and credits). -Provide training and coaching to office staff as directed by the Property Manager. -Handle all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, resident insurance, and lease renewals as needed. -Assist with creating monthly reports covering renewals, rents, leasing, resident retention, and maintenance. -Record all resident correspondence and assist in validating rental eligibility. -Provide support in the absence of the Property Manager and assist in managerial duties as directed. -Oversee lease and renewal processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies. -Process security deposit refunds and ensure positive resident relations. -Assist in scheduling appointments for potential prospects and residents. -Assist in any requested work to be done on the property and ensure completion. -Build and maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring proper invoicing and handling vendor statements. -Adhere to federal and state Fair Housing Laws, as well as company policies, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance. -Assist in following up on delinquencies and ensure timely collection of payments. -Maintain renewal records and assist with marketing and follow-up for leasing. -Address delinquent accounts and initiate the eviction process, filing necessary documents and attending court hearings if required.

What You Bring

-Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage various tasks simultaneously. -Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and auto insurance may be required for traveling between properties. -Associates degree (A.S, A.A.) from a two-year college or university, or two to three years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently. -Prior experience in property management or managerial experience in a sales/customer service role. -Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with residents and office staff.
