Mid‑shift maintenance technician/welder for limestone quarry equipment

Tasks

-Operate mobile equipment (e.g., forklift, skid steer, manlift) as needed for maintenance tasks. -Participate in daily safety meetings and communicate equipment issues promptly to supervisors. -Conduct welding, cutting, and fabrication work to repair or modify equipment and structures. -Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on stationary crushing, screening, and conveying equipment. -Replace or repair bearings, belts, pulleys, motors, gearboxes, liners, and other plant components as needed. -Maintain accurate maintenance and service records. -Work closely with production personnel to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient plant operations. -Troubleshoot mechanical issues with crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps, and other plant systems. -Follow all company safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental regulations. -Assist with equipment installation, alignment, and setup of new plant components.

-Must be willing to work outside in a variety of conditions -Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed -Must pass pre-employment drug screening -Mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed -Previous maintenance experience -Must have dedication to safe work practices -Must be willing to work a regular 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. shift
