Overview

Lead FP&A for large construction projects, drive budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and risk analysis.

Tasks

-Follows and implements internal controls, and supports internal and external audits ensuring adherence to GAAP, company policy, and contract accounting requirements -Oversees and evaluates all transactional processes for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance -Manage month-end close process and prepare comprehensive financial reporting packages for senior leadership. -Lead financial planning & analysis for large scale construction projects, ensuring accuracy in forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting -Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Prepares client invoicing, manages accounts receivable/revenue recognition, and reviews project cash flow projection on a monthly basis -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Reviews and understands prime contract and change orders, including insurance, taxes, payment terms, and labor laws -Partners with project management and operations teams to drive financial performance by identifying, quantifying, and communicating financial risks and opportunities

What You Bring

-Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. -Regular, reliable attendance -Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel ; experience with ERP systems preferred -4-8+ years of accounting and or financial/data analysis experience, preferably in the construction or construction related industry -Willingness to travel and/or relocate as needed (up to 25%) -Must be able to freely access all parts of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments -High level of professionalism and standards -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Exceptional analytical, communication (both oral and written), and organizational skills -Able to build high functioning teams with a focus on employee development, results, and continuous improvement -Strong understanding of GAAP, financial controls, and project accounting -Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Management, and/or related field. -Strong work ethic and eagerness to produce high quality results
