Perform pre-start and post-operation equipment checks, reporting any issues immediately.
Carry out beam forming, including preparation, setting out, and finishing to specified tolerances.
Maintain safe working distances, exclusion zones, and adhere to all traffic and lifting plans.
Complete associated finishing works such as kerbs, slabs, and edgings.
Work alongside machine drivers, banksmen, and concrete teams to deliver efficient and safe operations.
Support other groundworks or concrete activities when required.
Identify and report any defects, irregularities, or obstructions (e.g., high reinforcement, debris, incorrect beam or pile spacing).

Manual handling, confined space, or lifting-related training.
Strong awareness of Health & Safety, including vibration, noise, dust, and exclusion zone control.
Good communication skills with site engineers and foremen.
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Team-oriented with the ability to follow instructions and maintain consistent quality.

Proven experience in beam forming and finishing works within a civils or groundworks environment.
Strong work ethic with a positive, team-focused attitude.
Experience on large RC frame or infrastructure projects.
Sound understanding of safe working practices around reinforced concrete and live construction areas.
Valid CPCS or NPORS card (Excavator Operator, Dumper, Roller, or Lifting Ops beneficial).
SSSTS or equivalent supervisor qualification.
Ability to read and work from technical drawings and setting-out information.
