Tasks

-Work closely with technical and non-technical team members to understand, challenge and develop product requirements -Lead and mentor a focussed technology team, working closely with the other software teams and the software engineering manager -Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and data -Produce maintainable, high quality code as an individual contributor -Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends -Work with business stakeholders to prioritise and refine future workstreams -Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

What You Bring

-You have experience with agile best practices such as TDD, pair programming, and focus on short, iterative feedback cycles -You have experience creating, maintaining and improving CI pipelines -You have experience leading cross-functional technology teams -You have a desire to work with Rust and within the functional programming paradigm -You have experience and knowledge of coding best practices -You have experience working with non-technical stakeholders and care about non-functional requirements -You have experience mentoring and helping team members develop their careers and competencies -You have experience guiding and shaping workstreams to ensure the right thing is built, in the right way -You have experience with automation testing frameworks and proficiency with all levels of testing: unit, integration, end-to-end -You have strong proficiency in React, Typescript, and the Node toolchain -You have understanding and experience with APIs, databases, and cloud technology (AWS)
