The Role

Overview

Supervise hazardous waste field crews, ensure safety, quality and client satisfaction on site.

Tasks

-Fills in for any crew position as needed. -Oversees the safety of the crew to ensure that workers are wearing proper safety equipment and utilizing safe work practices. -Supervises the site crew to ensure that work is performed according to consultant and client specifications; operates each job in the most efficient manner possible. -Keeps client informed of job progress; answers client on-site questions and maintains good client relations. -May participate in hiring, performance evaluation, disciplining, promotion and termination decisions. -Completes daily paperwork to track labor, equipment, supplies and materials used for billing purposes and other associated paperwork; keeps project manager apprised of changes in usage from contract. -Supervises emergency response crews when needed. -Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
