The Role

Overview

Install, maintain, and repair low-voltage structured cabling systems.

Tasks

-Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and test equipment -Perform major and minor preventive maintenance and repairs by troubleshooting cabling system -Keep cable neatly tied and bundled while maintaining safety standards -Assist other members of the team with installation and maintenance -Develop in-depth knowledge of National Building Codes and standards -Test every newly installed or relocated cable in accordance with established procedures -Identify, track and remove abandoned cables -Record time and materials used

What You Bring

-OSHA preferred -Must be able to pass drug and background screen -High School Diploma or equivalent -One-year experience -Valid Driver’s License -Be able to work in various environments including outdoors in varying degrees of weather working at heights, and in small confined spaces. -BICIS preferred -Manufacturer training preferred
