Maintain, install, repair traffic signals & ITS equipment for Yunex Traffic.

Tasks

-Installing, repairing, and maintaining traffic signal and ITS systems -Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing CCTV and MVDS units and DMS signs. -Servicing traffic signal and fiber equipment by checking, testing, splicing, and replacing faulty components such as LED modules, electronic traffic components, cables, loop detector, switches, and fixtures. -Receive and follow direction from superintendent(s) and Project Manager(s) on miscellaneous tasks that are needed throughout the shift -Installation of traffic signal, fiber optic and streetlight cable

What You Bring

-Must be able to pass a DOT (Department of Transportation) physical exam and drug test. -Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment -Minimum 3-5 years of recent, verifiable experience as a Traffic Signal Technician -Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, traffic signal plans/specifications and procedure manuals. -Must be able and willing to work at heights typically associated with repair, installation, and maintenance of traffic signals and streetlights. -Current license as Journeyman Electrician can be substituted for experience as Traffic Signal Technician -IMSA Level I or II Traffic Signal Technician Certification preferred -Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. -Must be able to move supplies and equipment of up to 75 lbs. -IMSA Work Zone Safety Certification or equivalent (FDOT TTC) preferred -May be required to get bucket truck operator certification. -Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. -High School Diploma or GED equivalency is required.
