This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Controls Lead - Rail & Transit located in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. The Project Controls Lead will be responsible for overseeing project control activities, which include cost management, budgeting, and cost control. They will analyze project data and metrics to provide insights and recommendations, ensure project adherence to timelines and budgets, and collaborate with project managers and team members to achieve project goals. -Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability. -Develop and maintain integrated master schedules and cost control systems using industry-standard tools (Primavera P6, Deltek, etc.). -Lead project controls for complex rail and transit programs, ensuring alignment across cost, schedule, risk, and reporting. -Support claims analysis, change management, and earned value tracking. -Analyze performance trends, forecast outcomes, and support mitigation strategies. -Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations for executive and client review.

GEMS Inc. is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Project Controls Lead to support major transit infrastructure programs across Southern California. If you excel at integrating cost, schedule, and performance data to drive project success, this is your opportunity to lead. -Based in Los Angeles, CA, with potential travel to project sites. -8+ years of experience in project controls for large-scale infrastructure or transit projects. -Strong understanding of alternative delivery methods (Design-Build, CM/GC, P3). -Project Control, Cost Control, and Cost Management skills -Expertise in Primavera P6, cost management tools, and project controls methodologies. -Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment -Experience in Budgeting and Analytical Skills -Strong organizational and time management skills -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. -Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. -PE, PMP, ARM, PMI-SP preferred

Benefits
