Overview

Perform land surveying, GIS modeling, and drafting for DOT/transportation projects.

Tasks

-Draft existing site conditions using multiple software programs -Calculate horizontal and vertical positions from engineering plans for contractors to use during construction -Model 3D remote sensing data -Utilize a digital level to set high-accuracy elevations on project control and benchmarks -Operate traditional land surveying tools (GPS/Total Stations) to complete topographic mapping surveys -Conduct property research for land surveying activities

What You Bring

-Experience using Trimble survey and scanning equipment -Associate degree in Civil Technology or a related field -Proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Trimble Business Center -At least 1 year of previous field experience -Minimum of 1–5 years of survey or related experience
