What You Bring
-10 years of field survey experience and at least 5 years of experience as a Crew Chief, or equivalent knowledge. -Candidates must be proficient with data collectors, data collection techniques, robotic instruments, conventional field note-keeping, total stations and leveling. -Proficient in use of Trimble equipment. -High School Diploma/GED is required. -Experience with or ability to learn the use of 3D scanners. -Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions. -A valid driver's license and clean driving record required. MVR will be checked and monitored. -Must be able to work in inclement weather. -Willingness to travel overnight. -North Carolina DOT (NCDOT) project experience.
