The Role

Overview

Perform field testing of construction materials and report findings on construction sites.

Tasks

-Promoting a safe workplace and proper use of PPE. -Interacting with senior staff members on a variety of projects, as needed. -Perform field observations and testing of construction materials including soil, concrete, asphalt, masonry, reinforcing steel, and sprayed-on fireproofing. -Report observations and findings to project team verbally and/or in writing.

What You Bring

-Ability to lift and/or move up to 60-80 pounds. -Ability to perform basic mathematic computations. -Successfully complete necessary certifications (company-paid) to perform testing and inspection tasks. -High School degree or GED equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Geology a plus) -Possess good oral and written communication skills. -Ability to meet pre-employment criteria, including motor vehicle record.
