The Role

Overview

Install electrical equipment, conduit, wiring on NYC rooftop solar projects.

Tasks

-Troubleshoot problems as they arise. -Communicate with the crew lead and rest of the team on the day's activities, progress and -Maintain compliance with and enforce all OSHA safety rules and protocols for the company. -Clean up job sites and pack out all unused materials after job completion. -Ensure that the electrical system is properly grounded. -Install electrical wiring, including conduits, wire, and other components. -Promote job site safety, ensure safe work practices, and rectify job site hazard. -Perform work to BSW standards. -Responsible for being familiar with electrical aspects of BSW systems -Remain on site until the crew lead/ manager clears the team to leave. -Report to crew leads any issues that arise during installation. -Drive to the associated job locations for each day's appointment, as assigned by Crew

What You Bring

-Comfortable working in electrical panels. -At least 2 years of construction experience. -Strong time management skills. -Comfortable working on ladders and on roofs. -Osha 10 (SST) Required. -Knowledge of solar equipment is strongly preferred. -Demonstrated reliability with strong attendance and punctuality. -Valid NYS driver's license (Minimum of 3 years not including permit) -Required to stand or walk for long periods at a time. -Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. -Good customer relation skills. -Conduit bending. -Osha 30 Required. -A clean driving record is required. -Physically able to lift up to 50lbs or more. -Familiarity with power tools (Drill, Angle Grinder, Impact Driver, Reciprocating Saw (Sawzall), Hammer Drill, and Heat Gun).
