The Role
Overview
Fabricate metal parts using TIG/MIG welding, manual & CNC machining, and waterjet.

Tasks
-Complete reports, issue material to work order as required, file prints. -Create product based on work orders and drawings. -Use wide range of precision measuring instruments to maintain a close tolerance. -Weld using TIG and MIG processes on steel and aluminum of various grades. -Troubleshoot and diagnose welding equipment and quality issues. -Load and run multiple CNC machining centers as required. -Fabricate, form, and press metals to shape using rolling, bending, and stamping equipment. -Operate band saws, drill presses, and other manual machining equipment. -Support maintenance and engineering in custom welding operations.

What You Bring
-Basic waterjet setup and run. -Mechanical aptitude. -Effective time management to produce parts efficiently. -Good problem-solving skills. -Communication skills (written and oral). -Fast learner. Able to pick up new processes quickly. -Proven welding proficiency -Basic math, reading, and writing skills. -Proficient in part inspection, including use of calipers, bore gauges, thread gauges, and micrometers. -Attention to detail. -Ability to read and understand blueprints, including Weld symbols. -3-5 Years experience welding. -Ability to work unsupervised. -Basic understanding of ISO9001 and LEAN -Ability to create cosmetic and flush welds. -Two (2) year machine trade school in welding or equivalent experience
