Tasks

As the Sustainability Lead, you’ll champion ESG strategies across our clients’ portfolios, delivering high-quality sustainability ratings, reporting, and improvement roadmaps. You’ll work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure compliance, identify opportunities, and implement meaningful change. -Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to drive ESG awareness. -Lead and administer NABERS Energy & Water ratings and BEECs across commercial buildings. -Analyse consumption data to identify efficiency opportunities and track performance. -Deliver sustainability assessments using Green Star, WELL, and GRESB frameworks. -Monitor compliance with the Commercial Building Disclosure program. -Develop and present sustainability improvement plans and continuous monitoring reports. -Stay informed on legislative changes and their impact on clients and operations. -Advise on net zero roadmaps, waste management, and carbon accounting.

What You Bring

epx is seeking a passionate and experienced Sustainability Lead to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is a unique opportunity to drive ESG outcomes and lead our newly created Sustainability function. -Accredited NABERS Energy & Water assessor with CBD certification. -Strong client engagement and relationship-building skills. -Experience with Green Star Design & As Built, Green Star Performance, and/or WELL ratings (preferred). -Degree in Environmental Management, Engineering, or related field. -Familiarity with the Sydney, Brisbane, or Melbourne commercial property sector (well regarded). -Understanding of waste management, net zero strategies, and carbon accounting (preferred). -Excellent written and verbal communication, including report writing and presentations. -Minimum 3 years’ experience in a sustainability role or as a NABERS assessor.
