The Role

Lead demand forecasting and S&OP processes to align supply chain planning.

Tasks

-Define and implement metrics to measure planning performance -Lead the Demand portion of the S&OP process to align all stakeholders on next 12-18 months plans -Implement and improve planning processes and systems -Align Demand Plan processes to improve forecast accuracy -Improve the customer experience -Facilitate demand planning meetings and strive to achieve consensus with Product Management, Sales and Demand Planning. -Interact with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Customer Service, and Sales to ensure priorities are set and aligned to meet customer on-time deliveries -Manage multiple complex projects -Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions. -Develop sales forecast with Business, Product Line and Marketing leaders -Routinely interact with internal and external customers -Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results. -Maintain accuracy of planning data in ERP system

What You Bring

-Project Management, APICS, or other related certification -Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related field -Problem Solving/Analysis -Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts. -Experience with other software packages including Windows, and Microsoft Office. This position requires strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process. Good facilitation skills are required. -Master’s degree with specialization in Supply Chain or Operations -Strategic Thinking -Business Acumen -At least 5+ years of experience in supply chain demand planning and continuous improvement initiatives with relevant software applications.
