Tasks

Job Description: Plan, manage, lead, and engage in daily production operations to achieve the key performance indicators (safety, on time delivery, quality, and productivity. Lead efforts to attain internal certification goals, ISO requirements, and total customer satisfaction. Coach, mentor and develop all direct reports. Ensure compliance with all quality systems to achieve the required quality levels. Manage performance of assigned resources (material, methods, labor, machines). Participate in the development of the Master Production Schedule. Champion Lean Manufacturing Initiatives (Schneider Performance System) to drive continuous improvement throughout the plant. Lead change management in accordance with business and plant objectives. Promote collaboration, diversity and inclusion within the plant and the organization. Lead and coordinate the implementation of programs which support manufacturing strategies and goals. Position oversees 5 direct reports in the position of manufacturing supervisor.

Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field and progressive, post-bachelor’s experience (5 years with Bachelor’s or 3 years with Master’s) in manufacturing procurement management and leadership, or related occupation, which must include the following: 3 years of experience operating in an ETO environment using ETO tools (Order Editor, Engineering Drawing Viewer, S4). Also requires at least some experience with the following skills: Managing Profit & Loss for a business unit; Performing supply chain planning to obtain customer satisfaction using understanding of Lean Manufacturing methodologies; Analyzing data in MRP system (SAP S4/Hannah, LDS, DISS, Access Reporting for Symmetry) and making effective assumptions to drive business results; and Participating in at least one SPS Audit in ETO environment.
