Tasks

As a Senior Civil / Structural Engineer, you will work closely with Directors, Business Development, and Marketing teams to develop business opportunities with new and existing clients. You will meet clients to define scopes of work and develop proposals, while supporting the technical development of junior staff. -Deliver work to a high standard, on time and within budget -Manage a variety of small to medium projects with minimal supervision -Mentor junior team members and support their professional development -Lead and grow a team, oversee surveys, design work, technical reports, contract administration, and client liaison

What You Bring

-Ideally Chartered or progressing toward a professional qualification (MRICS, CEng with ICE and/or IStructE) -Broad capability in building structures with substantial experience -Ideally MRICS (or working towards it) -Familiar with JCT contracts and Building Regulations -Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and standards -Strong track record in project management, surveys, and contract administration -Degree-qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline -Proficient in relevant drawing and design software -Ability to manage and mentor multiple team members -Commercially aware with project management experience -Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Experience in building surveys and structural assessments is beneficial
