Tasks
-Successfully perform work assignments on a laptop or keyboard, often for prolonged periods. -Manage Government T&M, FFP and CPFF contracts as well as state contracts from cradle to grave at all levels in the company to assure compliance with contract clauses and company policies and procedures. -Act as a business advisor to the Executive team, Program Managers and Regional Managers. -Prepare, administer, and negotiate joint venture registrations. -Assess the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of assigned tasks. -Train as requested company employees in contract and/or procurement management. -Prepare, issue, administer, and negotiate non-disclosure and teaming agreements with subcontractors as required during the proposal processes. -Organize personal and others’ thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology. -Efficiently prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines. -Assist with drafting, editing and submitting proposal protest letters. -Successfully exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties. -Assist as needed with the bid/proposal team efforts and completing applicable forms for proposal compliance. -Implement new or revised laws, regulations, policies, standards, or procedures into corporate policies and procedures. -Develop solutions to complex contracting issues, which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation. Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives. -Regularly contributes to and may lead the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards, and provide input for the overall objectives and goals for the organization. -Monitor and maintain GSA schedule, SAM.gov registrations, CMRA submissions, and CMMC requirements. -Correctly and safely operate all office machines to include printers and copiers. -Monitor contracts, to include administering, extending, modifying, or terminating contracts, Subcontracts and/or Purchase Orders. -Compute, analyze, and interpret numerical data for professional and clear reporting purposes. -Prepare and present at business meetings requested analysis of the contract and procurement departments. -Foster and maintain a sound and reliable relationship with counterparts in the company.

Job Summary: The Director of Contracts and Procurement is a senior management position reporting to the President/CEO, and supporting Federal, State, local and commercial customers and contracts for KEMRON Environmental Services Inc. (KEMRON). This position will make strategic and innovative business decisions for the company and is responsible for the management of the Contracts and Procurement Department while guiding other staff members in contract administration. This individual must have extensive experience in Federal Government, T&M, FFP, and CPFF contracts, as well as state and commercial customers. Requires some travel. -Execute effective time management skills. -Required to work in diverse business sectors and may lead cross-functional teams on a variety of initiatives. -Safely and successfully remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods each day. -Minimum of 10 years of related contracts management experience. -Competently utilize KEMRON computer systems and/or software applications to access, create, edit, print, send, retrieve, or manipulate data, files, or other information. -Safely lift up to 15 pounds at times. -Strong personal and business code of ethics. -Business acumen. -Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations. -Strong leadership skills. -Exceptional attention to detail. -Consistently exhibit sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel, customers and suppliers. -Training in acquisition, cost and price analysis related to federal contracting. -Master’s degree preferred. -Maintain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Federal government contracting, the FAR, DFAR and, State and local Government contracting regulations. -Strong ability to work collaboratively with other teams, internally and externally. -Capability to safely move about to accomplish tasks or move from one workstation to another within an office environment or home office setup. -Bachelor’s degree; CPCM certification or other industry certificate acceptable in lieu of a college degree. -Verbal and written communication skills proficiency. -Clearly understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information. -Extensive experience with contracts involving the Federal Government, T&M, FFP, and CPFF, as well as state and commercial clients. -Must understand and follow KEMRON SOPs for specific task(s). -Travel safely via airline, automobile, Company vehicle to other KEMRON locations. -Ability to be accessible and “on call” for after normal work hours and weekends when requested.
