What You Bring
The overall expectations of the Project Architect position are to work with large project teams, including outside subconsultants, to ensure that all aspects of the project are being met and completed. An individual in this position needs to be capable of delegating aspects of work to the Project Technician and coordinating with all other disciplines. The Project Architect will assist the Project Manager with client meetings, design team meetings, and construction administration. In addition, the Project Architect must be motivated and capable of performing all duties with minimal guidance.A successful candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to lead, communicate, coordinate, and motivate. A successful candidate will also possess strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills, as well as contribute to a positive work environment. -Have thorough knowledge and understanding of South Carolina building codes -Excellent graphic presentation skills -Registered Architect in the state of South Carolina (desirable but not required) -Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture -6-10+ years of experience -Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project) -Proficient in Revit (AutoCAD also) -Strong technical design and construction document skills -Well-developed project design and planning skills
