Tasks

-Prepares technical specification sections. -Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings. -Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables. -Provides specialized technical input to Structural studies and design of Marine facilities and infrastructure such as jetties, wharfs and piers -Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements. -Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others. -Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.

What You Bring

-Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package. -Engineering designation (P.Eng) required -A University Degree in Structural Engineering + six (6) years of relevant experience in the Structural design of buildings, facilities and infrastructure -Experience in pile foundations and concrete decks -Experience in the Structural design of Marine buildings, facilities and infrastructure, such as jetties, wharfs and piers an asset but not mandatory -Experience in salt water construction
