Tasks

-Repairing and maintaining plumbing systems by replacing washers, mending burst pipes, and clearing clogged drains -Use hands to handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. -Performing installation, maintenance, and repairs on water and gas systems, pipes, fittings, and components -Testing for leaks using compressed air and/or water to ensure functionality and safety -Installing and assembling plumbing systems and equipment, including valves, pipe fittings, and pipes -Climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces, driving, entering crawlspaces, pushing, carrying, pulling, using hand tools, and performing fine detail work. -Maintaining safety equipment -Determining whether repairs or replacements are needed for customers -Managing the inventory of plumbing supplies in the vehicle, including checking stock, placing orders, and verifying receipts -Keeping equipment and tools operational by following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures

What You Bring

-Technology Skills: Basic knowledge of mobile apps and work management software to track tasks and report on job progress. -Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial systems. -Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose complex plumbing issues and recommend effective solutions. -Driver’s License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and 3 years of driving experience. -Experience with various tools and equipment, such as pipe cutters, threaders, and soldering tools. -The work requires regular exposure to extreme temperatures both indoors and outdoors, such as heat or cold, and adverse weather conditions such as wind, rain, ice or snow. -Expertise in installing, maintaining, and repairing water, gas, and sewage systems. -Safety-Oriented: In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. -Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, team members, and supervisors. -Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and emergency calls, as needed. -Customer Service: Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service, with a focus on professionalism and customer satisfaction. -Regularly stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch. -Working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, attics, crawlspaces. -Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, working in confined spaces, and handling tools for extended periods. -Ability to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone. -Diagnosing problems and failures in plumbing systems and equipment -Reliable, Year-Round Work -Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally -Ability to drive. -Familiarity with local and state plumbing codes and regulations. -Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications. -Leadership & Teamwork: Ability to lead apprentices, work well within a team, and coordinate with other trades on larger projects.
