Tasks
- Perform routine and reactive maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems. - Troubleshoot faults and carry out repairs to minimize downtime. - Identify opportunities for equipment reliability improvements and cost savings. - Support training and mentoring of junior technicians where applicable. - Participate in daily shift handovers and weekly team meetings. - Participate in audits and inspections, providing technical input and documentation as needed. - Maintain accurate records of work performed in line with GMP and ALCOA+ principles. - Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with site SOPs, GMP, and safety regulations. - Support implementation of site-wide capability frameworks and upskilling initiatives. - Work closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical technicians, operations, and quality. - Contribute to root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs). - Support equipment calibrations, validations, and changeovers. - Complete documentation (e.g., CMMS, logbooks, work orders) to required standards.

What You Bring
- Knowledge of EHS standards and participation in safety audits. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, regulated environment. -Completion of calibrations and experience with Instrumentation - Familiarity with CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo) and GMP documentation practices. - Flexibility to work across shifts and respond to out-of-hours callouts if required. - Minimum 3 years’ experience in a maintenance role within a GMP/pharmaceutical environment. - Experience with cleanroom environments and aseptic processes. - Strong communication and problem-solving skills. - Strong understanding of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems. - Recognized Electrical or Instrumentation Trade Qualification (e.g., QQI Level 6 or equivalent). We are seeking a qualified Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Maintenance Technician to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team. The successful candidate will support the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of electrical and instrumentation systems across the site, ensuring adherence to GMP standards and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
