Overview

Design civil land development projects, produce drawings and specs, support project team.

Tasks

-Produces design/construction drawings, technical specifications, and bid documents. -Provides technical and design services in support of civil engineering projects as part of a project team -Prepares design computations and assessments. -Responsible for completing design tasks within budget and on schedule. -Communicate and coordinate with Project Manager and design team on design issues and calculations relating to a project.

What You Bring

-Process-oriented individual with strong organization and technical skills. -Experience with design of land development projects preferred. -Stays current with Local, State & Federal Design Standards and Regulations. -Solid communicator, able to take and understand directives from PM and coordinate efforts with design team. -Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. -Multiple office locations to work from: Stick close to home or travel for a change of scenery -Strong writing and verbal skills; Able to complete work consistently, with moderate flexibility to accommodate varying demands put on them by PMs. -May or may not require a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle and criminal record. -Proficient in CAD Civil 3D and capable of learning other design software programs as required. -NC residency preferred. -Passed your FE Exam and obtained your E.I./E.I.T.
