Install, configure, and troubleshoot electronic security systems for customers.

Tasks

-Uploading configuration files to Cisco switches -Perform quality audit of security drawings prior to starting installation activities. -Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense. -Lead system commissioning activities with customer’s testing agent. -Update programming sheets with device configuration data. -Using access control software to configure door access control devices -Identify and understand the speech of another person. -Troubleshoot security field devices including cameras, access-controlled doors, network switches. -Support multiple project tasks concurrently. -Uploading firmware to access control boards -Pretest electronic security equipment before deploying to the field. -Markup drawings with Bluebeam. -Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction. -Perform site surveys of customer sites and document conditions in Bluebeam. -Applying IP addresses to cameras

What You Bring

-Associates with 6+ years of experience -Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard. -Open and transparent communication with senior leadership as well as local office management. -Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing. -Experience working in a data center is a plus. -Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. -Reliable attendance at customer site during work hours required by customer -Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time. -Software House CCure access control certification is a plus. -High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of experience with installation, troubleshooting and/or testing of electronic security systems or -Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes occasional nights and weekends -Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS -Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand. -Configure field devices including:
