Operate and maintain track resurfacing machinery for Queensland Rail's regional network.

Tasks

-Liaise with the Resurfacing Supervisor regarding program requirements -Undertake accurate and timely administrative and recording duties -Assist tradesperson with mechanical/electrical repairs and maintenance as required -Operate machinery in compliance with all policies and safe work procedures -Perform regular servicing and maintenance on all on-track and auxiliary equipment

-Complete Certificate II & III in Rail Infrastructure - Track Surfacing -All PPE & uniform supplied -Strong communication skills -Must have the flexibility to work some overtime and weekends when required -Demonstrated commitment to safety -Must have capacity to travel and work throughout regional Queensland -Current drivers’ licence -Experienced in operating civil or mobile plant machinery
