- Provide contractual, professional, technical services and advice appropriate to the level of the role.
- Undertake the calculation, management and communication of approved project costs and calculate project costs to meet customer or client requirements to recognised industry practice standards.
- Monitor contractors, stages, and progress of work, generate reports and management information for circulation and or communication.
- Prepare reports as required by project deliverables such that relevant stakeholders are appraised of the relevant issues and risks.
- Assist in advising on legal matters related to the role, including risks and disputes such that implications of work are fully understood and communicated
- Receive, review and clarity client instructions to ensure project teams are properly briefed and client expectations are accurate and properly managed
- Visit sites to provide advice and or monitor activity, provide relevant, timely reports to record site observations and provide advice as appropriate to the commission or activity.

- Holds a current site card or is prepared to immediately attain
- Familiar with relevant construction, health and safety legislation and the risks and hazards associated with asbestos
- Legal knowledge of landlord and tenant, compulsory purchase and compensation, and knowledge of property valuation techniques
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent in an Estates related discipline
- Experience in a similar or related role
- Professional membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and be working or prepared to work towards chartered status
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
