The Role

Overview

Provide legal advice on construction contracts, governance & risk for ANZ ops

Tasks

-Provide ad hoc advice on corporate law, IP, privacy, competition law, and insurance. -Assist with disputes, claims, and professional indemnity litigation. -Draft and update policies, monitor legislative changes, and maintain legal precedents. -Review, draft, and negotiate engineering and construction agreements. -Deliver internal legal and commercial training. -Advise on contractual compliance, risk management, and construction procurement models (Design & Construct, ITC, EPCM, Alliance).

What You Bring

-Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills. -Strong understanding of different construction procurement methods and contract structures. -Strong understanding of contract and commercial law. -Well-developed interpersonal and verbal communication skills. -Strong time management and prioritising skills. -Exceptionally high attention to detail. -3-6 years’ PQE. -Experience in either consulting engineering/architecture or the construction sector. -Hold a current legal practising certificate in any Australian State or Territory.
