Tasks
-Work with third party safety consultant and OSHA on safety, including certifications and educational programs. -Managing, coaching, and mentoring Site Manager and Assistant Site Managers -Lead the construction team and create consistency in processes and standards. -Creation, maintenance, and execution of production schedules -Proactively partner with Operations and HR to project staffing need -Review and approve custom option requests / late change orders, and if the request can be completed in time for construction -Conduct Jobsite Conditions Walks to ensure safety policies and procedures are being followed. -Ensure the specification and scope of work are followed as written in contract. -Ensure jobsite cleanliness and maintain a positive neighborhood image -Ensure that each superintendent is proficient and diligent in updating the scheduling software, PO approvals, and field work authorizations -Monitor the neighborhood indirect budgets and review quarterly with the Operations team -Perform “Meet The Builder”, “Frame Walks”, “Quality Control Inspection” and work with Customer Care on “Pre-Orientation Walks” -Ensure that Brookfield’s safety program is followed at each neighborhood under construction and that each site team member has the proper training -Review and accept the general conditions budget. Maintain the budget. Invoice approval, on a weekly basis, of work completed. -Review Avid surveys with site teams in an effort to constantly improve the Customer Experience -Review subcontractor evaluations and provide feedback to Purchasing and Operations -Review short- and long-term business plan and management goals with each site team. -Actively participate in Performance Development Plans for superintendents, assistant superintendents, and interns including conducting mid-year and annual reviews for each site team member -Develop and implement operational strategies and improvement of processes with internal and external stakeholders -Supervise construction activity for each home on a daily basis, ensuring all customizations or selected orders by the purchaser are complete. -Assist superintendents with contractor problem solving performance, quality, and adherence to Brookfield policies and expectations -Ensure that Weekly Site Assessments and Observations are completed in Cority. -SWPPP and Maintenance of BMP’s -Work with Purchasing on Homeowners inquiries on changes and modification that may affect time and budget. -Foster an open-door culture to promote team member engagement -Lead the quality improvement discussion, working on continuous quality improvement.

-Excellent Customer interaction skills. -Knowledge in reading and understanding working drawings. -Ability to coach and mentor teams to achieve excellence -Strong communication skills -Home Readiness and the completion of all homeowner Orientation items -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills -Require BA or BS -Computer skills, Microsoft Suite and BuildPro -Ability to persuade and influence team members and external contactors to achieve goals within a given timeframe -Prior experience as an Area Manager / Senior Superintendent/Site Manager, 10 years
