Overview
Develop and maintain customer accounts in assigned territory as outside sales rep.

Tasks
-Conduct face-to-face meetings, calls, and virtual interactions with prospects and customers to develop new business and maintain existing relationships. -Regularly collaborate with the Sales Manager to review sales activities, track progress toward goals, and provide updates on prospective customers. -Utilize collaboration tools, such as Microsoft Teams, to communicate and coordinate with internal teams effectively. -Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations, highlighting the value and benefits of our products and services. -Stay knowledgeable about Martin Inc.'s comprehensive range of products, pricing structure, and service offerings to effectively address customer needs. -Stay up to date on market behavior, competitive trends, and industry developments, adjusting sales strategies as necessary. -Identify and pursue leads, manage prospects, and convert them into loyal customers within the territory. -Implement strategic sales plans and initiatives aligned with corporate objectives. -Meet or exceed new business sales goals within the territory to contribute to overall company growth.

What You Bring
-Valid Driver's License and willingness to travel within the territory. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex ideas and build rapport with customers. -Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field, or 5 years experience in a related industry, such as Safety and Industrial Supply. -Solid understanding of industrial supplies, fasteners, safety products, and MRO solutions. -Exceptional interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently. -Proficiency with Microsoft Suite. -Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage customer accounts and sales leads. -Experience with cold calling to obtain new business within the territory.
