Overview

Install, maintain and test electrical distribution and substation equipment.

Tasks

-Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance -Ensuring all work complies with industry regulations and safety standards -Working with transformers, switchgear, and protection systems -Installing, maintaining, and testing electrical distribution and substation equipment

What You Bring

-Registered Electrician or Electrical Fitter (NZ registration or ability to obtain) -Ability to read and work from technical drawings and schematics -Solid understanding of electrical safety and compliance standards -Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working both independently and in a team -You’ll be trade-qualified, safety-focused, and ready to get stuck into meaningful work. -Experience in substation construction or maintenance (11kV to 220kV preferred)
