Tasks

Your role as a landscape architect will be to provide innovative and aesthetically pleasing environment. Ensuring that changes to the natural environment are appropriate, sensitive and sustainable. Collaborating closely with other professionals, you will work on a range of projects in both urban and rural settings. -Prepare site plans, specifications, and cost estimates. -Select appropriate landscaping materials -Analyse environmental reports on land conditions, such as drainage and energy usage. -Carry out site visits and ensure they are documented. -Liaise with other professionals on the project. -Accurately prepare and present detailed plans and working drawings of the re-design of the new site, including applications, construction details and specifications for the project using computer-aided design (CAD) packages or similar design software. -Conduct preliminary studies of the site (including contours, soil, ecology, buildings, roads, heritage). -Inspect landscape project progress to ensure that it adheres to plans. -Establish general landscape requirements with clients

What You Bring

Experience: 7+ years -Candidates must have strong design conceptualization and execution skills with high proficiency and experience in using AutoCAD, Sketch up, Photoshop, and other advanced software. -Demonstrable presentation and client relations skills. -Bachelor’s degree in architecture/ master’s in architecture with specialisation in landscape architecture. -A good working knowledge of AutoCAD is essential. -Excellent graphic and visualization skills to communicate design ideas. -12+ years of relevant design experience in various typologies. -Ability to multi-task and stay ahead of deadlines. -The architect should be well versed in architectural standards/processes and sustainability standards such as GRIHA/LEED/ECBC/ WELL -Excellent collaboration skills, good self-organisation, and strong ability to work in a team environment -Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
