Monitors plant performance, supports field teams, and handles switching orders.

Tasks

-Monitors plant performance, evaluates faults, and creates work orders (tickets) -Troubleshoots remote data acquisition system components and network infrastructure (meters,sensors, etc.) -Develops safe switching orders that help energize or de-energize components within a power plant. -Engages vendors when necessary to support efficient and successful operation. -Provides logistical and technical support for on-site teams, grid operators, and customer account representatives.

What You Bring

-Outstanding problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze situations and recommend solutions. -Ability to work in a team environment and support field technicians. -Strong organizational skills necessary to document and track issues from inception to resolution. -Ability to work 12 hours per day, covering some holidays, in our Durham, NC headquarters. -Coursework in Power Systems, Statistics, Engineering, Energy, or related field (bonus). -MUST RELOCATE/RESIDE IN/NEAR DURHAM, NC -Completion of PV100/200 Series (bonus). -2-year degree or 2 years toward a 4-year degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics preferred).
