What You Bring

-Knowledge of survey principles and practices -Familiarity with Public Land Survey System (PLSS) -Willingness to travel to sites 30% of the time with overnight travel -Experience operating data collectors, conventional, robotic, and GPS equipment. -Effective written and verbal communication -Regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds -Registered PLS in the State of Alabama -Must be willing to work in the field with survey teams on various types of survey projects. -Ability to give direction and mentor both experienced and new hire survey technicians -Must have the ability to quickly solve daily survey related problems and complete projects in a timely manner. -Familiarity with processing survey data from filed to finish, preparing property boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, and subdivision plats. -Reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and crouch -Must possess a valid driver's license. -Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
