The Role

Overview

Estimate costs for geotechnical piling projects and manage client/operational liaison.

Tasks

-Interpretation of engineer’s drawings, specification and ground investigation information to prepare detailed and precise cost estimates. -Manage enquiries received. -Work closely with the operational team to develop the optimal solutions and undertake project handovers on award. -Liaise with Clients and Engineers at the preconstruction stage. -Project financial management – assessment of project costs. -Sourcing and procurement of materials.

What You Bring

-Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills. -Driving licence. -Analytical thinking. -Estimating experience in piling or ground engineering. -Good communicator. -Client engagement and follow-up calls for quotations submitted. -Degree in engineering, construction, geology or similar, would be desirable.
