Tasks

-Maintaining accurate records and reporting, supporting transparency and auditability. -Supporting procurement and tendering processes, ensuring documentation meets high standards and aligns with Watercare’s strategic objectives. -Champion commercial governance and process management, ensuring consistency and compliance across all projects. -Leading risk management initiatives, identifying and mitigating commercial risks in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. -Developing and delivering commercial training for project teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

What You Bring

-Familiarity with Watercare or the Water Industry is advantageous. -Experience in developing and maintaining commercial training materials and commercial governance frameworks. -Knowledge of commercial risk management principles and contract compliance requirements. -Strong understanding of NZS 3910 & NZS 3916 contracts and their application in client-side contract management. -Qualified to degree level in a relevant discipline, preferably a tertiary qualification in Commercial Management, Business Management, Law, Construction or Engineering or equivalent. -Professional membership in a relevant industry association is preferred. -Experience in procurement, tendering, and contract administration.
