The Role
Overview
Assist structural engineers on design, analysis, drawings, and site work.

Tasks
-Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight -Occasionally climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist -Lead construction observation and site reports on inter-discipline projects. -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project goals. -Assist with structural analysis and design calculations under supervision of licensed engineers. -Review construction submittals for conformance with project plans and specs. -Help draft and review drawings, specifications, and technical reports. -May be required to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to, flame resistant clothing, hard hat, and protective footwear -Assist with tasks including data entry, filing and scanning, record entry, and miscellaneous administrative responsibilities.

What You Bring
-Completion of at least one semester towards a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or related field -Ability to walk up to 3-miles on uneven terrain -Experience using structural design software such as RAM, RISA, Enercalc, Mathcad or others. -Ability to work in adverse weather conditions -Experience using Revit and/or AutoCAD for design production -Minimum GPA of 3.0 -Ability to travel as required -Ability to inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects. -May be required to travel to off-site locations including occasional overnight stays out of town -Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time -Completion of at least 4 semesters towards a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or related field -May require lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting of up to 50 pounds
