Rail Graduate Engineer

Overview

Design rail alignments, drainage, plans; assist engineers; training for freight rail projects.

Tasks

-Obtains project information from other LJA personnel as directed. -Develop plan set suitable for construction -Design of drainage systems to support rail projects -Design of horizontal and vertical alignments for rail tracks -Uses templates to prepare draft memos and reports for an experienced engineer to use for re-write.

What You Bring

-Perform a variety of routine tasks, which provide familiarity with the programs, staff, and operating procedures of the company -Potential for field construction management and inspection activities -Ability to build strong relationships -Strong communication skills -Rail Experience a plus -Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering is required -Eligible to take the PE Exam within the next 3 years
