Tasks

-Participate in the application of company standards and client requirements to project deliverables -Assist in the development of construction drawings for substation protection, control, and physical design -Collaborate with engineers and CAD technicians to ensure quality and consistency in drawing packages -Support assigned engineering teams by providing technical drafting assistance for electrical substation projects -Contribute to a team-oriented workflow and help meet project deadlines -Use AutoCAD to prepare plan sets, diagrams, and design documentation

What You Bring

-Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a collaborative environment -Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S. -Knowledge or interest in electrical protection and control systems, and/or substation physical design is beneficial -Familiarity with redline/greenline drafting workflows is preferred -Insight into the consulting engineering process and utility industry standards -Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; knowledge of MicroStation or Revit is a strong plus -Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications -Enhanced technical drafting skills using industry-standard software tools -Currently enrolled in or recently completed a two-year technical degree program in Drafting, CAD Technology/ Mechanical Engineering or a related field -Hands-on experience supporting substation design for power and utility projects -Exposure to protection and control systems and physical layout design principles -Learn to read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, and design specifications -Must be available to work full-time during Summer 2026 at one of our office locations listed
