What You Bring

-Ability to work 10-to-13-hour days if schedule requires -Ability to move around for up to 12 hours per day -Moderate to elevated risk of safety precautions -Wet, hot, humid, and wintry conditions (weather related) (plant specific) -Moderate to elevated risk of exposure to unusual elements -Physical abilities to tolerate work in extreme environment (heat and cold) often in an outside environment -Should be capable of acquiring skills at reading shop tickets (like blueprints) and interpret measurements and applications of specific hardware -Moderate to high exposure to production environment -Prior experience in construction/building trades helpful but not required -Must possess basic math skills -Ability to read a tape measure with absolute accuracy -Ability to work flexible hours, according to schedule -Should have skills/ability to learn to operate overhead gantry crane -Physically able to push, pull, lift, bend, climb, kneel, twist, squat, crawl and use hands/forearms repetitively and frequently -Physical abilities to climb up and down, stooping, bending, and working in unusual positions at varying heights above floor level for extended periods of time -Requires lifting ability at or above 50 lbs. on a regular basis -Must be willing to be flexible in work assignments, able to work in different departments on an as needed basis -Physically able to lift to 75 lbs., occasionally -High school or equivalent (GED)
