The Role

Overview

Support solar project execution: logistics, inspections, procurement, documentation.

Tasks

-Conduct job hazard analyses before project commencement and advocate for continuous safe behavior among the crew. -Aid in developing project execution plans, monitoring schedules, and performing quality control checks to ensure compliance with project standards. -Champion safety by leading by example, ensuring that all team members adhere to safety practices and standards. -Maintain comprehensive records and control over project documents. -Assist with the coordination and resolution of engineering requests for project-based personnel. -Support superintendents through daily timekeeping and reporting of staff, equipment, and material usage. -Ensure effective collaboration with team members to achieve desired outcomes. -Carry Weight: infrequently carry weight and/or lift objects (light to heavy) weighing up to 10 pounds -Conduct regular inspections of ongoing and completed work to uphold quality assurance. -Set a positive example in both safety and quality for team members and subcontractors. -Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders, including third-party engineers and owners. -Oversee the creation, compilation, and management of reports and technical documentation. -Secure and maintain all necessary permits for assigned tasks throughout the project’s duration. -Manage environmental compliance by ensuring the proper training and certification of field staff. -Manage the procurement of materials specific to trade requirements in line with project timelines. -Strengthen third-party relationships through professional communication and meeting client expectations. -Develop trade-specific training materials and execute inspection and testing plans.

What You Bring

-Demonstrated ability in supporting projects: development, planning, installation, and execution. -Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced working environment. -Minimum of 4 years work experience (2 years work experience is equivalent to 1 year of education). -Stationary Position: frequently remains stationary up to 90% of the time and sitting up to 8 hours in a day -Sight: frequent use of sight to detect images on computer, office documents, and office objects near and far -Travel: Up to 100% -Noise level ranges from moderate to high (if on construction worksite) -Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position. -Must be competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). -Hearing and Speech: frequently communicates with the ability to hear and talk on a regular basis with employees, coworkers, and all personnel matters; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations -Fluent in written and spoken English. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Willingness to travel full-time. -Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or another related field
