Tasks
Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you’ll lead all aspects of cost management, procurement, and contract administration across major work packages. You’ll take a hands-on approach to ensuring commercial performance, value delivery, and cost efficiency, while driving best practice and mentoring junior team members within a collaborative, high-performing environment. -Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and best practices. -Oversee the commercial performance of large-scale project packages. -Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the commercial team. -Collaborate with project, design, and technical teams to achieve programme, quality, and budget objectives. -Lead procurement, tendering, subcontractor management, and contract administration. -Manage valuations, variations, and cost/value reconciliations (CVRs). -Work on flagship high-rise developments in prime London locations valued up to £300m. -Produce accurate financial forecasts and support commercial reporting. -Drive value engineering and cost-optimisation initiatives.

Outstanding opportunities have arisen for experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors to join leading Tier 1 main contractors and developers delivering a series of high-rise, design-led residential projects redefining modern living across East, West, South and North London. -Proficient in Excel and cost management systems. -Strong communication and stakeholder management ability. -Proven background in RC frame and residential construction. -Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation, and leadership skills. -Minimum 7+ years’ experience on large-scale residential or mixed-use projects. -Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (or equivalent).
