Tasks

Reporting into the Managing Quantity Surveyor who will be managing multiple projects from a reporting, costing and forecasting aspect. The Senior Quantity Surveyor is focused on the day-to-day running of the project and Sub-contractor packages. Working for a Tier 1 contractor delivering Rail schemes across the Home Counties region. -Act as the key liaison between the Managing Quantity Surveyor, Site team, and sub-contractors from a commercial aspect. -Lead the cost delivery of a £15m project, managing multiple sub-contractor packages, -Create financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders, including cash forecasts for your package of works. -Monitor subcontractor payments and contract amendments. -Oversee contract management aspects to ensure performance benchmarks are met, enabling payment clause triggers.

What You Bring

You must be living and eligible to work in the UK to apply for this position. -Degree in Quantity Surveying, ideally, or similar qualification. -Full clean driving licence -Previously been involved with projects from £5m to £20m as you will be leading the scheme and not part of a large commercial team as on major projects. -Experience on site in a Quantity Surveying role,

Benefits

Salary: - £70,000 - £75,000 basic + Car or Allowance + Bonus + Package Hybrid working 3 days on site and 2 days working from home. Working on a hybrid basis you will be working on site 3 days a week, then 2 days from home for admin and MS Teams meetings.
