Project Manager

Manage construction projects, ensuring timely, on-budget, high-quality delivery.

Tasks

-coordinate and participate in various meetings; -report changes to professionals and claim costs; -acquire the necessary technical and administrative information from the persons involved during the submission; -draft contracts and agreements, negotiate terms and award them to subcontractors; -establish the schedule (dates, main stages of construction, constraints, methodology) and / or the critical path of the project and monitor it weekly; -inform the superintendent of the project and discuss with him and the director of the proposed methods; -develop the prevention program requested for CNESST and monitor it on site; -obtain blueprints and specifications for construction and compare them to bid plans; -place orders for critical materials, negotiate prices and prepare contract documents, in collaboration with the construction manager, for subcontractors; -Read the technical and administrative specifications of the project to be executed; -obtain licenses and permits as needed for the execution of the work; -establish and maintain a professional and continuous positive rapport with the client, etc.;

What You Bring

-relevant 5 to 10 years experience in construction project management; -bilingual French-English both spoken and written (required); -master of MS Office and MS Project software. -Ability to obtain a security clearance -Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering; -strong management, negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills;
