Tasks

-Develop a complete understanding of the Fluor prime contract and relevant subcontracts -Promotion of innovation and capital efficiency of facilities as reflected in leading project execution strategy; -Support the project by providing an environment for the development and professional advancement of project personnel, including providing on-the-job and formal training and development opportunities -Utilize Knowledge Management processes to capture, support and leverage relevant knowledge to enhance project execution -Participate in Fluor University courses for continued learning experiences -Collaborate in the preparation of the project in accordance with the Fluor contractual obligations, Fluor’s Operating System Requirements (OSR) and the relevant Operating System Implementation Plan (OSIP) -Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) is emphasized throughout all phases of the project -Verify with the Project Director (PD) that project requirements for Baseline Centric Execution, safety, quality, cost, and productivity are met in all locations managed by Fluor where work is being performed -Participate in sales and marketing efforts as requested

What You Bring

-Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job -Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner -Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study -Project and/or area management experience in international locations and diverse cultural environments; -Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders -Demonstration of successful performance as program manager or project manager on multiple large EP, EPCM or EPC projects including no less than one (1) copper concentrator; -Knowledge of and demonstrated experience with regulatory processes and requirements including permitting in jurisdictions within and outside North America; -Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines -A minimum of twenty (20) years related experience, with a minimum eight (8) years of project management (or combination of project management, project engineering, engineering management, and/or overall project controls) experience primarily in support of mining projects, including field assignment(s) with supervisory responsibilities
