Tasks

-To formulate the yearly “Environment management plan” as per the ESG goal of Infosys. -Manage Downtime/ Breakdowns. -Assist the Assistant Manager Engineering/ Engineering Manager to review the maintenance/service practices of M&E Contractors to deliver quality work practices in line with the manufacturer recommendations. -Effective management of the team. -To update and maintain all statutory documents like Calibration (Standard testing laboratories), Pollution Control, etc related to PHE operations. -Implement and oversee the pre-emptive maintenance programme to reduce the risk of sudden failures of critical equipment. -Ensure the contractors follow the house rules at all times and the projects are handled with minimum inconvenience to the Client. -To formulate the yearly “M &E objectives and Management plan” As per Infosys BCMS policy. -Assume AFM responsibilities if need arises. -Establishment and adherence to policies & procedures, compliance deadlines for each of the tasks as advised by the Operation Manager. -Meet or exceed best practice in provision of services through contracts -Responsible to handle the shifts independently on all Engineering related matters. -Daily inspection of logbooks, history card, checklist, escalation charts, OCP & PPM schedules etc. for a better management of engineering systems. -Arrange for ad-hoc M&E set ups as per the client requirement from time to time. -Daily Walk around of the Facility -Support the Assistant Manager Engineering/ Engineering Manager in managing the Mechanical, Plumbing installations & all Civil maintenance within the facility. -Maintain the logbooks, checklists and PPM schedules for all M & E installations. -To maintain consistency and achieve 99.5% of timely AHD closure in related area. -Responsible for preparation of critical spares list for all installations as per manufacturer’s recommendations and plan for the inventory where the maintenance is carried out with in-house teams. -Track the usage of Simpliance tool (Annual maintenance contract) as per defined scope. -To ensure that all maintenance related schedules & shut down in consultations with OEM & Infosys Limited are followed.
