Overview

Lead EIA projects, managing assessments and mentoring team in South/East England.

Tasks

-Provide the reviewer and approver role for environmental deliverables; driving technical quality. -Providing line management and mentoring to members of the Environmental Team. -Supporting tenders. -Co-ordinating all stages of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) including SEA and the range of other environmental assessments and consents such as WFD, HRA, and planning.

What You Bring

-Excellent people skills and ideally previous management/supervisory experience -An environmental related degree -Excellent written and oral communication -Understanding of commercial drivers of consultancy and ability to manage and work to programme and budget -Hold a full UK driving licence -Previous consultancy experience. -A thorough understanding of EIA, sustainability and consenting (planning, HRA, WFD etc.) -Chartered with a relevant institute
