Tasks

-Editing lidar point clouds and creating hydrographic break lines for multiple topographic and bathymetric lidar projects. -Work with the Product Line Lead to assist in the execution of projects, on time and within budget. -Works with production staff to support process improvements; working with other Technology/Process Improvement teams to review best practices to enhance product line, gain efficiency, and improve quality. -Provide feedback and support for developing and/or updating SOPs as necessary. -Perform work that appropriately follows all quality control steps and practices are implemented throughout processes to ensure deliverables meet client specifications.

What You Bring

-Experience in Lidar data editing -Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or related field. -Conceptual understanding of fundamental remote sensing concepts and geospatial processes for various products, e.g. how lidar sensors work, basic GPS ground survey procedures, airborne lidar trajectory processing, interaction of light and water for bathymetry applications, and ortho-imagery processing. -Task Management; Problem resolution; Report writing; Collaboration. -In-depth knowledge of ESRI's software ie. ArcMap, ArcPro -2+ years of experience in the GIS/Remote Sensing Field. -Strong verbal and written communication skills. -Proficiency in basic computer applications, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, and Access).
